This week at The PR Boutique we were on a major fashion buzz. Early in the week we were delighted to receive a number of calls from fashion distribution agencies based in Ireland who are stocking some beautiful womenswear labels. They all wanted to raise the profile of the brand in their showrooms, which is one of the things we do best!
Positive media coverage for a brand makes the agent's job much easier as stockists are increasingly more likely to carry your line when there is a certain amount of awareness out there. By investing in your brand and garnering significant coverage, consumers will already be hungry for the product they have seen splashed across the regional and national fashion media and buyers and boutiques are better able to move their stock on the floor.
Back in the office we've been absorbing the hottest autumn/winter catwalk trends, all in the name of research of course! The September issue of the glossy fashion magazines are always a fantastic read, whether for work or pleasure, and it's great to find new angles to use for our clients from the covetable new trends they present. We'll definitely be picking up that super orange and red hue lipstick from Rimmel and the season's hottest accessory the glove. Did you know Paula Rowan located in the Westbury Mall, Dublin 2 is Ireland's only glove designer? Launching her third collection next month, they really are worth the investment! Think soft luxe leathers in an assortment of on-trend colours with beautiful classic embellishments.
Finishing this week with an exciting business opportunity meeting with a hip new Austrailian company who have big plans for the irish market. Watch this space....
