It’s no secret that here at WhatSheWears.ie we are huge fans of wedges. So when I heard that Terry de Havilland finally launched an ecommerce store today, I yelped for joy!
My favourite pair of shoes in the world is a pair of red Lola wedges and until now, these70’s inspired shoes were only sold in limited places in Ireland, (namely boutiques such as Lara where you can pay anything up to €450 for a pair of the infamous Margaux wedges).
Leather is the best transitional fabric to take you from Summer to Autumn and from Winter to Spring. That’s double wear so really good value using a wear to cost ratio. Muubaa is on everyones radar as a really good value leather brand that’s really rocking the trend. Sunday Times Style magazine had Muubaa as one the best kept secrets and every star has been photographed wearing them from Cheryl Cole to Halle Berry.
I just discovered the Stone Cold Fox label and I’m lusting after it all. It’s vintage inspired, made to order and is pure silk and velvet heaven. Their campaign imagery is stunning; Carolyn Dorian photographed by Lauren Taylor, and now all I want to do is go and wander around Arizona (or somewhere hot and dry), in lashings of washed silk. It’s available on StantonJames.com.
With a lean towards real elegance and fifties and sixties inspired glamour, the new aw2010 collection for Louis Vuitton is a real celebration of the female form and (praise the Lord) of curves! Check out the stunning campaign shots below.
